Kim Stuart
Chief Operating Officer

 

Kim Stuart, COO of Conscious Inclusion Company, is a strategic advisor for professional services firms, non-profit organizations, and business executives. She has more than 20 years of experience in constructing and advancing business development initiatives, marketing strategies, and training initiatives.

Kim also co-founded the Diversity in Leadership Forum (formerly the Women Leaders Forum), a comprehensive leadership development program that provides the insights, management principles, and framework essential for effective law firm leaders. She strongly recognizes the need for purposeful inclusion, which is at the heart of all of the programs she oversees. She is also known for her ability to develop high-quality and successful programs tailored distinctly to the needs and opportunities of her client.

Kim brings a unique business perspective to Conscious Inclusion Company, as her background includes working both in-house within firms and professional services and having launched two successful companies. Prior to starting Key Group, Kim was part of the senior business development team at Dentons.  Additionally, for nearly a decade, Kim was a Senior Advisor and Faculty Member for Ackert Inc., the company behind the award-winning business development training platforms for professional services firms. She has personally facilitated hundreds of business development training programs with lawyers at all levels, from senior associates up to managing partners.

Clients have garnered multiple industry awards and media recognition and her successful initiatives have led to enhanced revenue, client relationships, professional development, and talent retention.  Kim is a frequent industry speaker on business development and DEI and has been published in BOSS Magazine, Attorney at Law, ALM’s Corporate Counsel, and Legal Marketing Association’s Strategies.

She serves on the Economic Development Committee for the Town of San Anselmo where she works with the Town’s governing body, merchants, and community members to develop action plans for programs to help invigorate the Town’s economic well-being. 

In addition to her role as Chief Operating Officer, Kim’s responsibilities at CIC include developing and driving company productivity and efficiencies, managing the DEI gamification app, and hosting DEI courses, workshops, and presentations; and offer best-in-class client service.
